Installing my new Autometer lunar cluster. Everything is cool except the speedometer is pegged at 150 and won't budge. All the other gauges seem to be working correctly. Has anybody else run into this?

Thanks,

Tom

I didn't have a lick of trouble with mine...but now that I think about it I guess that's why I let the guys at Custom Performance install them for me.
I was to affraid of screwing them up trying to do it myself. My wife would have shot me after she found me on the floor from a self inflicked gun shot wound from frying $400 gauges!

Thanks for the help........guess the speedo must be fried? When I first plug it in it drops to about 90 and then pegs at 150 and sits there. :damnit:

So even when it's unplugged it reads 150? Did you buy it new, if so return it?

Make the guage needles sweep by putting the dash in diagnostics mode or by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes. This may correct it...

I will send it back I was just trying to avoid pulling it apart and reinstalling my stock one. Kilgore, I tried the diagnostics mode and it sweeps down to about 90 and back to 150 and sits. I'll try the battery trick. When I'm driving and get to about 45mph it starts to move back to 90. Using the digital speedo right now, in diagnostics mode.

Thanks,

Tom
