I just got my new gauge in and now Im clueless. Not really but I just want to do this right so can some one break it down for me? Where do I get the ignition switch from? Where do I put the twist-in light? Thanks

Get ignition from your fuse box and tap the light wire into your headlight switch.

I used a power tester to see which wire under the dash had power. My clock was bad, so I used that wire for the dimmer. I ran a ground along with the sending wire through the firewall together, then grounded it with with a screw on the side fender wall, and continued with the sending wire to the sending unit, which I installed in the lower intake. I moved the stock one to the water neck screw (there is not a screw on the stock water neck, but there is on after market ones.)
Good Luck

should be a hole for it right in the back of the guage, just turn it and it will pop out. Use the Green or Red bulb covers to give it a diffrent color durning night driving. I used the Red one on mine.

PS: since were talking about autometer temp guages does anyones guage ever stick Somestimes even after driving long enough for the temp to be up to 180 it still reads 0 on the guage. Once I get on it up to about 3,500 RPM's then it kicks in and the temp guage goes up. It dosent always do this but seems to a few times a week. Any Ideas

Same here, we used the dimmer for the clock for the light to the guage as well.
