Needed some wheel cleaner. I swing up to the new Murrays right next to Autozone...but they aren't open til Friday the 4th.....so guess where I had to go.........AUTOZONNNNNEE!!!!!!

I go in to buy wheel cleaner....frickin ONE bottle of wheel cleaner. I find it, then think.."HMM my truck needs an oil filter and oil." NO 5w30....period....NONE. There is NO help in the store. I get to the register, and wait 5 minutes in line with nobody ahead of me and 3 people behind me. Can't find anybody. Somebody comes up front the back, rings me up I leave.....and see 3 Autozone employees outside smoking next to the Entrance/Exit.

WTFFFFFFFFFFFFF????

Murrays...open QUICK!!!

Sounds like the Autozone here, everyone is just standing around or acting like they're looking for something important on a computer.

They are usually all hovering around a co-worker's friends civic in the parking lot here. I'm telling ya...slap some chrome on a civic and park it out front and you can really clear that Autozone out and rob the joint.

I'm lucky the one by me is pretty good, stocked shelves. not to many kids working there, mainly older staff who seem to know thier stuff and atleast get you something the next day if you need it. The store is in a smaller town not in a big city maybe that's it .

I use to work there that place is great when you need autoparts LOL..if you know what I mean. But as far as pay they suck ass. ALL they care about is the average ticket. If you guys notice they are always trying to sell you those little packets of grease and such. Those are to get you to add atleast a buck to your final bill. That makes the average ticket go up and they all get praised from the GM. Unless you need it guys dont buy that ****

Laser....that's ok..there is nothing wrong with having a job, and working there, I just bitch about the on by me. They are PATHETIC!!

I went to Murrays to get tune up parts for my 91 5.0L. The guy didn't even look in the computer. He went right to the shelf and grabbed 8 Motorcrafts, and even rattled off the stock plugs gap to me.....I was impressed, and satisfied.

Do me a favor and see if you can get me a water pump for a 4.3L Mustang. Because, they don't have 4.6L's in them...they are 4.3L. Even my mananger said so.

I hate autozone. My local advance is pretty good though, theres afew people there that actually know what is going on and try and help you out when needed. Ive brought stuff back there that I never used or barely used even a year later and they still give my my money back every time.

Truck day was almost a lockout day when I was there, and we had it on Wednesday.

I hated that you have to put all that stuff in an exact location, I love the warehouse I work in now, put the crap where it fits and log the location into the computer. Also non smokers can get a break at the place I work at now, I serously thought of getting a prop cigarette so I could get a break at AZ.
