When I first saw this Chevy with the emblem shown below, I thought it actually said, "Five O". (Disregard the "5" part of the emblem shown below - it will not be used) Has anyone tried modifying one of these yet or will I be the first? Gonna put this on my son's 92 5.0 LX Vert... Stay tuned for pics.

I guess you could do it no problem. Just make the A into an F I. The little bit you cut off of the middle of the A to make it into an F you could use as a dash in between the the 5 & O FIVE-O

Exactly - I think it'd be pretty cool... We all have seen the same ol, same ol, so I like to try things a little different, while making it look like it's OEM.

Now, if I can find the logo without going to the stealership...

I don't think you will find it anywhere but the dealer. Who in their right mind would make after market parts for that thing. It's a Daewoo Lanos in a Chevy wrapper.

How are you going to re-chrome the parts that you cut?

Boss Inc used to make a Five-0 badge. You can probably still find them if you look hard enough.

You could always go to advance and buy those chrome letters they sell now, they are .99 each

LOL - agreed. Might be able to find one in a can opener...

That's the question...dunno...might paint it, if necessary...

Good call - I'll take a look. With the new 5.0 coming out there will probably be a resurgence of 5.0 emblems.

Yeah, I'll get the ones that say, "24"" - gotta love those... I did see an SN-95 the other day with HUGE rims, had to be 24" at least...all pimped out. That poor Mustang...I actually felt bad for it. It's like your Mom putting you in a dress.

LOL isn't the car's theme ummm... Chevy?

I think it would be cool though, seems like it'd be pretty easy to turn the A into an F I with two simple cuts.

As for fixing the "I" if you could sand it down nice and flush you could probably hit it with some touch up paint and nobody but you would ever notice.

I was thinking... There's nothing that says it has to stay chrome. You could always just paint all the letters a metallic gunmetal or silver color and it would be just as cool.

Lets give it an honest chance. In for pics

I just ordered a couple of the new 5.0 emblems myself. Let's see what those look like on a fox

I think with the right set of rims, the new 5.0 badge can work.

That being said, with my turbines, it will never work haha

I'm in for pics too. I think this Aveo to FiveO thing has potential.
