Cool video, but one thing I never understood about high speed chases is when they "recover" the stolen car it is usually totaled. I would think a stealth chase would be better. Bust 'em when they stop to get gas or something.

Although it wasnt the brightest thing he ever did that guy learned his skills from somewhere. WOW. Unreal. The person that the car belongs too is probably sick seeing that cop ram it in the wall and then over the curb. Why dont they back off of him and just follow?? Isnt that how people get killed or hurt? wouldnt it also put the surrounding people in a state of panic?

Wow, that happened on I-240, the highway not a mile away from my house! Cool! Man, he did a helluva job keeping that car under control for awhile. Not good to steal a car, though. He should change his ways and become a cop or HP officer or something.

I'm going to assume it was a 6 cylinder car as those patrol cars had no trouble catching up to him like he was standing still..... Wow, he shoulda had a V8

A friend of mine said the guy they caught was a former police officer. That is why he was able to drive like that, he obviously had some previous training.
