Thanks to my "stunna driving" (meaning, sideways skidding+high RPM+low gear+alittle bit of screaming * curb) I have to replace the exhaust on the Stang.
1998 3.8L 5spd, no previous mods except that snorkel removal that produces the same noticable gains as washing the car.
But apparently you can't just replace the exhaust. You have to get the duals. I figure this was God's way of telling me to start messing with the car.
I also learned you can't just buy a dual exhaust, you have to spend as much money as you can and get the Generica starter package of
1. Dual Exhaust
2. CAI
3. Underdrive Pulleys.
It's all ordered, got the guy that builds hot rods ready to basically become my go-to guy for questions/advice/work.
Pretty exciting feeling really, now I know what you guys are so geeked about. Not expecting to rip it up at the track or anything, but really excited to learn.
Next up is rims. Not that I don't like the standards, but I also managed to mess one up in my crash. Suspension to follow, then gears/t-lok. Then who knows what.
