B/U Switch mount

My 68 toploader back up light switch has been hanging from the tranny since I bought it a year ago (other go/stop fast projects came first). I seem to lack the imagination to figure out how the switch should be mounted. Can't find a picture anywhere (service manuals, parts books, etc). Can anyone describe the mounting position? TIA. Tom

I think the back up switch is located towards the front of car on the underside of the shifter. I think it had a small screw holding the bracket on.

Thanks, Tom. So it sounds like there is a threaded hole near the shifter base. I'll look for it tonight. Thanks. Tom
