Well It was really cold in th 50's i think I dunno.

My car is not in tune at all running real rich. Dynoed last week and got 268/303, gonna get it tuned in Jan.

60ft 2.2153
330 ft 5.8453
1/8 et 8.8529
1/8 mph 82.84
1/4 et 13.5304
1/4 mph 106.43

I could not get traction at all. spun through first and second gear.

are my times good for my mods, what do u guys think?

I though the mph was pretty good.

You are right in there with the 106 mph trap speed. With better traction you could knock a few tenths off that ET and maybe add .5-1mph.

It looks really good to me, nice job!

With traction you are easily in the 12's. You might be able to get there on street tires with some practice -- a 13.5 with a 2.3 60' time could be a 12.9 with a 2.0 60'. Not impossible on street tires.

Your already running 106mph. I hope your not gonna waste any money on a chip?? Just spend $300 and buy some nitto drag radials. Once you actually learn to drive the car, the et/mph will get better. Also, try playing with timing and fuel pressure at the track. Make a change then make a pass and watch the mph and tune from there.

The reason I am getting it tuned is cause of the big 30# injectors, plan on running a dry shot of N20 on it.

I also want the fan to kick in sooner 180? any ideas?, my car runs hot
And get the rev limiter set to 6,250 or so, its at 7k now, and the timing retard taking off etc... Anyone know what else they can do.

But mainly for driveability.

It dynoed 268/303 with water/fuel spitting out the pipes, running rich timing 13 fp 34.

Yea im gonna get some tires what is better nittos, bfg's or slicks? I am going to put them on a set of tribars(trying to keep my car stock looking/sleeper).

Whats your a/f ratio? The "big" injectors should not be running you rich. Thats a sign of the eec not likeing your maf and its adding in extra fuel to be "safe". Ever try disconnecting the battery for a while toclear out the KAM? (keep alive memory) I'd recommend a tuning device for you and not waste the money on a chip. Only because I have experience with a chip and it was a nightmare. I wish that shop burns down to the motherfu****g ground!! But anyway, a tuning device is the way to go. I just ordered myself an Anderson PMS.

Damn that is good MPH, I ran a 13.5 at 102, you should be in the 12 easy get that 60 down. What is your tire's air press. set at? I cut 1.9 60ft with 22-25psi on 245/50/16 street tires. Play with that and get the launch to feel like it almost wants to bog but not spin with street tires. OR get some DR and bust a 1.7-1.8 60ft, hello mid 12s.

And 50 realy cold tomarrow (sun.) the high is supposed to be 22 here . I wish it was 50.

The dyno was for free, didnt have A/F hooked up first 30 cars free

Im running 275/40 kdw's I did not mess with the tire press, had half a tank of gass ,tribar with tire for spare in trunk along with a big ass heavy duty jack, I just ran it like it is on the street I guess.

Then how do you know its running rich? A h/c/i stang with an offroad H pipe is gonna smell "rich" but that doesn't mean its running rich. I recommend you put your fuel pressure back to 39psi and try another 2-3* more timing. Tune your car at the track, its a lot more fun

Did you dyno 268hp with a stick or the automatic?

268 with the 5-speed.

The plugs tell that I am running rich, and im running 30#'ers, most guys run stock ones or 24's I think, so I am over injected, but I won't really know until I get it dyno tuned.

Ill try putting it up like you said and raising the timing.

Not bad for old gt40p heads

thats a great MPH from that HP level. Almost freakishly fast. I was only trapping 105 with 300+ rwhp. Some practice with that car and I would believe it would bea real beast.
