Today i started taking my driveline apart in order to replace the clutch in my 97 gt equipped with the t-45 trans. Much to my surprise, the bolts connecting the bellhousing to the transmission were 'backwards' with the bold heads on the inside of the bellhousing with no good wrench access. My repair manual says nothing about this, and i am truly stumped. I dont have a lift so i cant remove the bellhousing and trans and one piece. Someone please tell me that theres another way of going about this without pulling the engine out of the car. Thanks!

Sorry man, you gotta take the transmission out of the car in one piece.. I just put a clutch in my buddy's 98GT yesterday. Sucks it does but just think, you get to check everything out when you have it out of the car.
