Hey everybody. I picked up a msd dizzy, coil, and box. I did a rough install (wires all over the place) to make sure everything worked because the ignition box was used off of ebay. It started up like a champ. So I disconnected and reinstalled everything neatly then bam! I get nothing from the key ignition! When I turn the key everything turns on power wise but I get no crank at all.
I thought it was the used box but I gave it the spark test and it it was fine. I checked the voltage on the coil and it was good. The battery is a new red top optima. My starter is pretty new as well as the solanoid. I believe I have everything covered so Im stuck. The only thing I can see being faulty is the key ignition or the clifford rs3 remote start alarm. The funny thing about the alarm is that it will crank and try to start when I trigger it with the remote.
Anyone have any input?
