Bad Lash Adjuster?

My 98 Gt has a ticking noise when I first start it up, it comes and goes untill it's warmed up. It has been PI swapped. Does this seem like a possible lash adjuster problem or what?

yep, sounds like a bad adjuster. They are easy to replace when the engine is in the car but you'll need the tool that prevents the timing chains from moving. Ohh and a valve spring compressor.

Why would you need that for a lash adjuster? You're going to rotate the cams to get the lobe up to get the follower out then the adjuster just slides out. Something different on the 98 even if it has PI heads?
