my car is a 94 gt with 177k miles. burns no oil at all, and doesnt smoke etc. always starts right up etc. i have been having some issues with revving tho. it is fine until about 4500rpms then it kinda runs funny. the timing is at 10 degrees and i know all the plug wires are in the correct places. i mean it will rev to 6000 but not smoothly at all. various vibrations at different rpms and it just isnt smooth. i have changed the cam before but went back to the stocker. there is a tick at idle which makes me think it could be a bad lifter.
also i am runnning crane valvesprings that are a little stronger than stock. stock rockers/cam/motor. all internals are stock.
can someone help me? could this be some bad lifters?
