now my car started having this ticking noise and it really has a fast tick while driving and when i put a load on it, and i just put some lucas oil stabilizer in it and it seemed to quiet it down. i'm running stock gt40 heads with the stock 1.7 roller rockers, new lunati springs matched to my reused lunati cam and reused stock lifters, had to make some budget cuts. my push rods are new chrome moly. oh and the rockers are pedastal mounted but i did measure the pushrods for proper preload. i think my lifters are collapsing, anybody else have an idea, it's a real fast tick when under load?
