bad sounding noises

I am on TOB 3 or 4 now. Today I started the car after it sat for about 45 min or so and it made the worst squeeling sound ever, for about 5 seconds. It almost sounded like a slipping belt but I know it wasn't. There is the ever present TOB noise and now there is a light grinding sound when the clutch is not pushed in. I guess my Q is, does it sound like just a bad clutch or could it be something more

my guess would be throw out bearing. If it stops right when you press the clutch a little it's a definite

I read somewhere (one of the Stang mags) that you have to load the clutch with like 20lbs of pressure or else you'll burn out TOBs all day. Sorry, wish I had more details...but this maybe part of your problem if your eating them regularly.
