interesting as most TOB issue i''ve heard in here is a bird chirp while clutch is out, and stops as soon as you apply force to clutch pedal.

But ya more then likely your croppy OEM TOB is on its way south.
I would not let it go too long, regardless of what you hear from people here.
My mechanic and I are 99% certain that my clutch blowout last year was caused by squeeking TOB gave out.

U had it installed by shop? then I'll scream at them. they prolly didn't bother lube the TOB. I don't care what they say about TOB being permanantly lubed. It still meeds to be lubed outside before installed. Or may be they just didn't bother installing new one?
As far as Clutch goes, well, they can only be installed 1 way. soooo i don't think clutch itself was installed wrong..

U can remove access cover on trans. Lube the TOB and see if squeek stop. if it does stop, then its TOB for sure

Alrite. thanx, just a few more question, is it bad to be driving like this? i wont be able to get to the shop for a few days, due to school and work. will something like this mess up the clutch??

edit: i talked to someone who used to work for the shop, and he said all the TOBs they used were all pre-lubed. so is it possible that its my adjustment? (adjustable Firewall and quadrant was also put in)

Did on mine. But i drove like that for almost a year. And i was also going like 5000rpm, and shifting when it finally gave out. as long as you don't go nuts, i think u'll be okay

Well, I cured my TOB squeak with an application of quality lithium grease to the TOB ID (inside diameter) and the shaft it rides on. YMMV if you live on the beach or in the desert, or drive through flooded streets... Worth a try.

Do know that this is not a cure. more like a bandaid. Lubing it does work. but it'll usually e back shortly after, as lubing it only covers up what is defective in the first place. Ford TOB is just plain crap.
I did samething with mine. I had to relube mine every few weeks.

Until it went south
