It's most likely your driveshaft if it does. Put the rear of your car on jackstands, chock the front wheels, and put the car in gear. You can actually see if the driveshaft is visibly out of round as it turns. If that turns out to be the problem, go for an FRP aluminum driveshaft. Best $160 you'll ever spend.

i am going to put 373 gears in this weekend i will try installing driveshaft 180 outgt90stang said:Well, if it is a new condition then maybe not. Could be a bent driveshaft or bad U-joint. If it has done this since you got the car and it has had the gears changed by the previous owner then maybe just the rear of the driveshaft needs to be indexed. I'd say put it up on jacks and check it out to be sure. There shouldn't be much play in any of the components rear end, u-joints or output shaft bushing/yoke.
