Granada spindles use tie rods with a different taper than 70-73 Mustang spindles. Baer doesn't make a Tracker for Granadas. Anyone using the Baer 70-73 Tracker on their Granada spindles?

Aren't the Granada holes a little bigger? I used the 74-78 MII ends, but I had the Rack & Pinion conversion.

Find an old MOOG front end parts catalogue, and compare tapers & diameters.

Theads are the same but the taper of the spindle pin is definitely different for 65-69 and 70-73. Granada tie rods are different PNs than 70-73s. My search of the web says they are different but you can use the Baer Tracker for 70-73?

My other option is Global West. Their kit comes with a big drill bit and you make the spindle fit their tie rod.
It's a beefy spherical bearing that is unlikely to go bad but I am concerned about locking myself into that one style of tie rod.
Though I suppose if I "broke" a Baer Tracker, I wouldn't be picking up a replacement at NAPA or AutoZone either. Although if I was say driving cross country I could swap out the Trackers for regular tie rods, re-align it and keep going. Then again, have you ever seen a tie rod fail? They just get sloppy and "should" be replaced. Not a stuck in the desert type of problem.
