Ball Joints - ?

I just got mine from Mustangs Unlimited... but they didn't come with grease fittings. Kinda stupid, i buy greaseable balljoints and i have to buy the fittings seperate too?

Anyway.. how easy should the ball joint move around in my hand? They come dry, am i supposed to buy the grease fitting and grease them with a gun until the boot is full of grease?

They are low friction ball joints and are not supposed to be serviced. The grease is already in there.

Then why is there a threaded hole in the bottom?

Installing dry makes no sense to me?

Mav, i dont know. im a grease freak, so if it has a hole, i would get some zerk fittings and install it and pump it up with some grease.

im not familiar with a 'low friction' design - Hardman, can grease hurt in there (why would there be zerk fitting bosses then?)?
and what are low friction joints - do they have a teflon coating on them or something? does grease hurt this or create a higher coefficient of friction?

i hate non-servicable stuff. ok, im done.
