Why the race over the torque tune?

Which would you use at the track or the 'race'?

I was looking to get a 93/tq tune for some 17in Drag Radials, but my 93/race feels nice on 19's, thus the questions...


btw, did you have to change your pump/filter due to tune; I was running out of fuel at the top of 3rd and 4th, did anyone else experience this...

I hace Dougs 91 Race and Torque tunes. I prefer the Torque tune.

I prefer the race tune. They're pretty much the same, but the race tune has quicker throttle response. Doug is the man.

I have the 91 race-torque-&perf. Love the race little better mileage out of the torque. Doug is the excellent & perfect cust. service!

Chad9350 I went out and ran it to red line in all 4 gears and never missed a beat, you should get that fixed....The race tune pulls harder all the to redline,the tourq tune fall off around 4500.just my 02 both are great

Changing to Aeromotive fuel filter, checking pump, and maybe go to the clutch next....

Im only using 93 octane, baseline tune timing and a/f from the race tune..., I did change my fuel filter with factory replacement.

REALLY has me stumpped....
