Band Clamps with Magnaflow cat-back

Band Clamps with Magnaflow cat-back?

Is anyone using band clamps to secure their Magnaflow cat-back as opposed to the U-bolt muffler clamps that come with the kit?

What sizes and how many? I've been looking at the Dynomax Stainless Steel Butt-Joint Band Clamps and the Dynomax Stainless Steel Lap-Joint Band Clamps.

4 of one, or two each?

im using the ones that came with my catback, works fine tho i think i have a small leak but thats ok

those clamps came with my catback. i had some leaks from the muffler/tailpipe, so i tried to tighten em the best i could. tailpipes started hitting the frame. tried to fix em over and over again, they only get so tight. didnt work, they were garbage. got me some u style ones from advance auto and now no moving tailpipes or leaks. gonna get some more to put on my xpipe.
