Does anyone know if Banshee Performance is still in buisness? I have seen the thread on the 5.0 shaker hood, I like it, I want one. I have looked all over the internet and cant find a phone number, email address, or company info anywhere. Need a little help here!! Any one know where I can buy one?

I found that article too, and even sent them a fax, since their was no phone number listed. The fax failed, just as I thought it would. Thanks for the reply. do you know anything about Shinoda Performance? I found their website and I guess they sell them ($589) is that over priced?

They are DEFINITELY not in business anymore. They never sold enough of those kits to really be self-sustaining. The odd one can be found still floating around the net but they've become pretty rare.

They're no longer in business, but some sites still sell the kits. They may have been bought out, I think it may still be available on partshopper.com, you might want to check it out. My brother has the Ram Jet...looks great, it's just a lot of money for a limited performance gain but about the same price as the CDC shaker setup.

I have the BANSHEE Ram Jet on my car. I would only get it if you dont plan on doing major mods. It only fits the stock intake unless you can modify it to fit another, your choices on strut bars and superchargers is slim, especially getting one to work with the kit. Plus the filter and box is too small to support airflow for my 347 stroker, or even a 302 with H/C/I. My advice is to save your money for something like a nice ram air hood if you plan on going beyond stock. Ive had my kit for about 2 years now. Its very durable but not worth the $600 I paid for it.

My brother got the Ram Jet to work with his Explorer intake, fits like a glove. I doubt that it would fit on many other intakes besides the explorer because of height differences or general design differences.

I agree with ramjetlx, it is not really worth the money... It only fits a few intakes, i did get it to work pretty easily on my explorer intake. It does get alot of looks from people, and it's awesome now that i have an aftermarket cam to actually make it shake! ramjetlx, what intake do you have your shaker on?
