I'm in the process of resetting the base idle on my car.

It has a Ford Motorsport E-303 cam and I need to know where the RPMs should be with the IAC disconnected? I'm guessing somewhere between 800-975... Anybody know?

Are you using the 1.7 RR with that e cam? I would try 900 rpm and see if you could keep it running.

I have the same setup and set the idle with IAC unplugged at 850. Now car idle around 900 and only hunts a little bit. Sounds MEAN!!!

I have my car set up around 900-1000rpms. I have had it like this ever since I slightly modified it. A higher idle really helps cars with underdrive pulleys as well.
