Has anybody ever did the installations of Bassani Aft-cat on a 99-01 cobra. if so, how hard was it to do. And also has anyone ever heard the Street Competition system. How does it sound and how loud is it. Does anybody know what kind of performance i should gain with a blown 99. Thank you very much for your answers.

I did a borla stinger cat-back,it was pretty easy on my 03Cobra,With just your cat-back you shoud get around 15 or 20 HP,I think

I installed a Bassani catback. It was easy, 1-2 hours, but it was a bit too loud for me even with the resonators in. Took it off and put a Borla on, which I find quite pleasing.

Resonators are inserts in the tailpipe that quiets it down a bit. Take them out and it is a little louder. Supposedly no effect on performance or backpressure. No, it was not Street Competition.

Street Competitions are supposed to be LOUD. Check out this sound clip of a 96 cobra with catted xpipe and street comp catback: http://www.mustangexhaust.com/sound...anicatalyticX-pipe,factoryheaders,96Cobra.mp3
