I have this cat back as well as the bassani o/r x pipe on my stock 90 lx, and plain and simply it sounds mean as hell. quite under 2500rpms and normal highway speeds, but jump on the pedal and this thing screams. the compliments are endless...
ive been told a couple of times that it sounds like a nascar stock car,but not as loud of course. the quality is nice, and the install was quick. the 3 inch tips look real nice on lxs'.
ive had dumped 40 series flows behind my x pipe before the bassani c/b and soundy pretty nasty, but loud as hell and it sounded to "tiny" for me.
Yea, I've heard a few sound clips from a 1995 white GT. I fell in love with the sound on the computer. I just hope that with the BBK longtubes, Dr. Gas X and the Bassani cat-back will sound the way I want it in real life.
I have had many diff exhausts, but now I will not change it again. I love the sound of mine. It is not the loudest or the quietest. It just sounds good and different for most peoples set-ups.
I wouldn't want the baffles. I just wanted to make sure that they weren't in there and I fired up my car and it didn't sound that way i wanted to. The baffles would be the first thing to go out if it had them.
