Hey everyone, I was wondering if you know anyone was running this combination. I currently have 40 series flowmasters on my 2003 GT 4r70w. I have been looking at mid pipes and bassani sounds like it would be a good choice and I just wanted to know what people thought about this? THAnks

It sounds like s/hit.
Don't put an X with flows.
Stay with an H or go with Prochamber.

Careful with advice like this. Truth be told, some X pipes sound bad with chambered mufflers, but not all.

The Magnaflow catted X for instance sounds very smooth with 2 chamber flows and actually has ZERO rasp believe it or not. I know b/c I've run the combo for 3 years.

Easy with the :nonono: 's guy.
He asked about Flowmasters with Bassani X.
That combo sounds like crap.
Yes, some X pipes sound "ok" with Flows, but not great in my opinion.
Rule of thumb is Chamberd goes with H-pipes better Than X-pipes.

here's a couple clips of my bbk longtubes, bbk o/r h-pipe, and 2 chamber flowmasters...

dont go x...

who cares if it's more hp...i'd rather make up for it by uppin my boost and have the better sound :)

Sounds good! Wish my GT sounded like that. I have the flows, but with the stock H it sounds NOTHING like that. Its deep, but doesnt have the sharp metallic sound that I got the flows for.

If its the sharp metallic sound you like, then you might like the xpipe with the flowmasters afterall. I've heard this setup and sounded like it was shooting metal out of the exhaust pipes.
