Hey guys, I am getting them in the mail tommro and need to know the best way to install these. These are the midlengths so im not sure if you need to do everything as if it were a LT install. Thanks
Sorry to jack the thread but what about with the BBK Tuned Length Shorties? Think its worth taking the springs out and all those extras steps as well?? The only reason I would really rather not is, I just got through putting them in this last weekend.. I thought Shorties should be alot easier to install, think I can skip any of these steps?
After reading some posts at Modular Depot about the BBKs, I would drop the K-member. The way the tubes bend and wrap around causes some of the bolt holes to be really hard to access. Accessing them with the K-member in on a set of headers with accessible holes is bad enough, let alone with a set that makes it hard to get to the holes.
good deal, I will for sure then, just to make it easier even if it is possible without. Now for the gaskets they came with... First off they were all warped and bent when i got them. on one there is a little crease where it was bent, didn't crack it or anything, but there is that noticable crease. Think these are worth using, even if they were perfect? I have heard that the stock gaskets are probly better, mainly becuase its an 03 too so they are basicly new.. what do you think?
