I am getting ready to install a Bassani O/R X-Pipe on my 95 GTS. I have two questions:

1) What do I need to watch for when installing the pipe? From what I read, the bassani seems to be one of the better fitting pipes. Has anyone done this install?

2) Do I need MIL Eliminators? I have heard that they arent necessarily required b/c I dont have the OBD2 computer. I have not found anyone that makes the MIL's for my model year, they all start at '96 or '99. Is it worth the time to track down some for a 95?

Thanks.

It's an easy 5-10 minute install with a lift. And there's no need for the mil eliminators on our year cars...You're good to go, have fun with it. BTW it helps if you have a really long extension with a universal socket to get at those bolts at the headers. :flag:

I agree completely, except I did it without the help of a lift, just jackstands, so it probably took about 30-45 minutes. Mine fit very well, and no need for the eliminators. Good luck.

What happens with the egr tube? Is there a spot to hook it up to the bassani o/r x-pipe? If not, what do you do with it? Plug it up?

Yeah, MIL eliminators are not needed b/c we only have 2 O2 sensors, and they are before the first set of cats.

This is for 96+ up cars.
