I don't know exactly how a 97's exhaust is setup compared to 99+, but all I needed other than those tools was a swivel. Our nuts on the midpipe are 15mm so maybe yours are too. Just get a good angle on the nuts before you try to loosen them and use a little WD-40 if they won't break loose.
But also, save yourself a LOT of grief and get a swivel socket for getting the midpipe out... I "misplaced" some of my tools in a move, and didnt have the swivel head, and it was horrible, would have been easy with the socket!
