I have Bassani And It is unique it has a great tone and is loud when heard from out side but isn't loud inside the cab! I think it is in the X-Pipe Design! but I have had the exhaust for over 2 years and probobly have gotten used to it! Bassani and Borla both are good I have never heard magnaflow?

Depends on the specific catback, the regular Magnaflow catback is not too loud, nice and deep. The Packs are a lot louder, I have had both. Borla and Bassani also have different catbacks, you have to be more specific on which kinds and what kind of tone you are looking for? Quiet or loud? Loud at all times, or when you get on it?

each one has their one tone but they also sell different loud levels for each i personally like bassani they have this deep tone to them that sounds aggressive and combined with their X-pipe

I don't think you can beat Magnaflow for the price/performance.

Magan flow has good sound, I think they have 2 different setups, louder and quiter, And Borla sounds nice also, a little pricey though.

I just had the Magnaflow installed a couple of weeks ago and I really like the sound. It's a little loud, but only because I have an offroad x-pipe and no cats. I think you would like the smooth deep sound.

I love the sound of Bassani but Magnaflow sounds very good too and has a better price.

Depends on what your looking for the magnapacks with and OR x sound very different at idle can barely tell but when you crack on it nice and loud but a lil raspy for my tasty I think it matches well with a cobra.
Borla I've got the less noisy one and I enjoy it. the louder system (stinger) with a OR pipe is TOO loud for daily driving IMO.
Bassani can't knock them although they seem to be more raspy than deep toned to me.

I've had the regular Magnaflow catback for about a year now and I love it. There can be a slight drone at certain rpm's but I don't think that can be avoided with anything.

If all you do is put a catback on, the magnaflow isnt really that loud in my opinion, but deffinately sounds good. I have the offroad x on mine, so its pretty darn loud

I suggest you hear em before you install em...words like loud, cool, great, don't mean squat...it's what your ear hears that will help you make your choice - good luck on this fun mod!

my magnapacks w/OR H pipe was loud outside the car but not inside...and my god it was fun. i live in a small town so dragging main between some good sized buildings really left an echo... go for whatever you want. but i personally would go with the packs or the S type mufflers from borla (the stinger mufflers). those mufflers are totally different tones however. the magnapack is a little more raspy but not super raspy by any means...very aggressive sound and the S type borla is a very deep rumble and sounds pretty good through the rpm range...but a magnapack tach-ing 6k w/no cats is pretty freaking cool.

Prochamber + stingers = loud, deep rumble

Bassani midlengths + bassani xpipe + stingers = mellow, exotic tone with a bark when you floor it. At certain rpms, it sounds like a g35/350z.

Video!

Here is a video of my combo: Ford shorty headers, slp O/R X, and Borla Catback. Note that the sound is from INSIDE my buddies fart canned vtec acura and it is still VERY audible.

I have Magnaflow's, but they are NOT MagnaPaks. They are only slightly louder than stock. I increasingly find myself wanting them to be louder than they are, but I don't want any interior resonance.

If you want loud, bon't get the non-MagnaPaks. I am probably gonna get the MagnaPak mufflers.
