Bassani X-pipe Tick

I bought a Bassani off road X-pipe for my '95 and put it on the other day. Ever since then I've had an annoying tick that sounds like an exhaust leak, but everything has been sealed up tight. I've got another car with a BBK X and have had no such tick... so I'm stumped. I took it in to the local exhaust guy and he welded the X where Bassani originally had the clamps and it didn't make a difference. I've jacked the car up in the air and started it to listen for where the sound was coming from, and it seems like the tick is originating from somewhere IN the X-pipe.

It's driving me nuts... so anyway, has anyone else had this issue?

air pump maybe, did you hook the hose back up?

Put a short belt on to bypass it and plugged off the line going to the back of the heads.

where did you find a bassani x pipe for a mark viii i have not had any luck finding one thanks:SNSign:

No It was for his 95 mustang I believe

so when i goto buy one i just order the xpipe for the 95 5.0 mustang and it will fit

Uh, no. I bought an x-pipe for my Mustang, it had a tick. It is in no way related to my Mark VIII.
