battery is not charging

just got my car back from inspection and i noticed my battery was charging (the voltage gauge wasnt at normal and not moving with the revs of the engine. i didnt see the battery light go on so i thought nothing of it. day later voltage in the car drops as i drive fuel pump starts cutting out and now its parked but the battery is near dead. the battery is new and the voltage regualtor on my alternator was recently changed.

The easiest thing would be to take the alternator off and have it checked first, how old is the battery itself?? I would also check all the connections at the alternator and make sure you are getting power there while the ignition is turned on.

Get your battery and alternator tested....sounds like a bad alternator
