Baumann Electric Trans Control Users

I'd appreciate any info from anyone that's tried one of these.

I read a post theother day that somewhat surprised me -
it said a lot of people have had problems with them.

I'd like to upgrade to a good 4R70W but then would need
something like this, and don't want to spend the money
if it doesn't work as advertised.

I know from someone who has a 62 Galaxie with a EFI 351 and had several problems with a built AOD who replaced it with a 4r70w and the Baumann TCU and loves it...solved all the problems he had with an AOD.

I plan at some point getting a Baumann TCU and a 4r70w for the stang then transfering the entire drivetrain (minus the diff) over to a 65-67 Galaxie when I buy one.

Take into consideration that the Galaxie is probably about 1k lbs heaver than a stang.
