Finally got time to take the car down for a week to do the swap.
Need it Monday to go to a distant job interview.
Got the headers on this morning, but they don't match the
H pipes!
The connections are basically in the right place, but are
angled wrong. Especially the pass side - it points way too
much toward the starter.
And the steering column rubs.
Disgusting for what is supposed to be a bolt in!!!
Now I have to drop the H pipe and try to rework the
ends to fit the headers.
And will have to borrow a car for the job interview trip.
If they're going to sell stuff and advertise it as a bolt
in part "with no modifications necessary to the exhaust",
it ought to bolt in!!!
