BBK 75mm throttle body question

Alright, I have a 2000 Mustang GT. I am going to be doing a complete upgrade of the entire exhaust very soon, and I am going ahead and bolstering my intake a little bit too. So I bought a BBK Power Plus series 75 mm throttle body (Part# 1701). My question is this, will I need to upgrade the stock plenum to get the most out of this thing? If I do need to upgrade it, which brand should I get to matych up with it the best?

You will most likley loose power with the 75mm TB unless you upgrade the plenum. I would go with the C&L Plenum with the 75mm TB.

There is lots of data on these combos and www.modulardepot.com. MM&FF tested this combo a few months ago with good results. The 75mm TB got about 3 hp more than the 70 mm. Expect HP gains of 8 - 10 and 14 ft lbs of trq. The car will run stronger at higher rpms. It's a pretty good mod.

No. Actually "HoTO" stands for Home of Their Own. HoTO is a non profit org that my wife and I run in our free time (so now we have none lol). We buy houses and renuvate them so kids can stay there who have cancer and are recovering from bone marrow transplants. The facility is located in Hershey, Pa. My wife is there as we speak (as I type) moving in a new family.

The 75mm has more peak power, but mirrors the stock TB in the lower end of the RPM range. The 70mm made more power than stock throughout the RPM range. For this reason, I went with the 70mm. I also like the Accufab plenum...looks 100% better than any other. But to each his (or her) own.

I second the Accufab plenum...just flows better. I don't think you'll loose power...with the intake it's all about the choke point. You can only flow as much as your tightest point will alow. If you have upgraded your induction and TB then the plenum is next cause it will be the weakest link.
