BBK chrome headers?-

anyone have the bbk chrome headers? im wondering how the chrome coating holds up to the heat and elements, did it get pitted and rusted?????
if so, how long did it take etc...

mines fine a little blue on the flange end but no flaking or pitting.

ive had mine on for the 2 years i have owned it and the previous owner installed them...its a daily driver and mine still look fine

I had a set on my 93. Other than the chrome bluing they didn't peel or have rust spots all over them. Since I don't have a garage my car sits in the driveway.

i got em...same as everyone else, lil blue near the flange but fine otherwise.

same here! turned blue after the first hour I drove the car, but no rust or flaking.., If you plan on getting them dont use the bbk gaskets that come with it....spend some extra $$ and get some good ones!, mine lasted 1 month with the original gaskets ..then I got a leak.


Oh yeah ..and some stage 8 locking bolts too.

mine are good after 3 years, a little blueing but no rust or flaking, they even held up to 1 canadian winter next weekend they are being replaced with some B&G turbo headers

Well maybe it's the humidity down here in texas cause my LT's have only been on the car for 2-3 months and they look like crap, rusty and discolored. I'll post pics later if yall wanna see.
