BBK Cold Air help

i have a 92 mustang lx that came with a BBK CAI. im not sure what HP gain im getting out of it and i would like any info thats possible. so if you know anything about it please let me know.

The gains are very little or next to nothing; the CAI is just as good as the factory air box with the silencer removed. The CAI is more for looks if anything.

The biggest gain there is the air filter, you might be getting a tad more mpg, and maybe 5-10hp at the crank on a stock motor, maybe

It may be true that you only get about 5-10 hp with cold air but that's with a stock engine. Start adding 70mm Mass Air and Throttle body and a good exhaust and that CAI makes a huge difference. All of that gets you nothing with a stock air box. My car gets around 28 mpg at 75 - 80 mph.
