Ok, after 5 years of owning my car i broke down and finally bought a cold air intake.

I got the fenderwell style one that located the filter in the fender.

BBK only makes these for mass air cars. I was thinking ahead since i have a mass air conversion I will be using soon. But for the time being what can i use to put in place of the Mass air meter?? Does BBK sell an adapter that goes here? Am i better off going to home depot and looking for a flared PVC peice to put here for now?

I do have a stock mass air meter i could put in place for the time being, but i beleive i may be hurting something by using a tiny ass meter. I plan on getting a large aftermarket one but haven't bought one yet because i am not converting anytime soon.

SO anyone with SD have a BBK cold air and what did you do to make it work?

I got suckered into this piece. I bought the kit and it didn't come with that piece. I payed 40 bucks or so, but it looks good and works. You should go to hardware store and just buy some sort of fitting for now.

Yeah i'll just toss the stock MAF i have sitting around in there for now while i look for a peice of molded rubber or PVC to fit in there.

It's just the stock MAF is so tiny that i fell like i'm going to lose power. But i can live with it for a few days while i search the hardware stores

If your New Pipe is still in the box - check out - Demolet Motorsports Densecharger - they have the In The Fender or Under Hood Styles and they flow the best out there at a great price. Also they sell a Pro-M Mass Air Meter with the systems that will be metered to your exact set-up - custom - at a better price than anyone. My system has been awesome.
When you go there - E-mail John Demolet and he'll help you out.
