I'm about to order upper and lower rear control arms for my 88'. Are the Griggs-made BBK arms good? I know theyre not adjustable but thats okay.

What are the bushings like? Are they hard? Soft? Greasable? Noisy?

I won't put up with noise or harshness as this is a daily driver. I just need more traction on the street and with slicks.

Of course I'm having the torque boxes welded at the same time. Only the lower boxes are welded right? Or is it all four?

The car has original springs, but eventually will get the slightly lowering Motorsport "B" springs.

I think the BBK arms sacrafice being quiet for some traction. I'm 100% positive they will be better than stock, but not sure how much.

As for the torque boxes, the lowers seem to be the most common ones to go - but I just finished mine all up. All four of mine are welded, I installed battle boxes, reinforced the battle boxes with a couple extra bolts, and then the battle boxes are welded. It's all how much work you want to put in and what you will be using the car for.
