BBK Shorty Headers???

Yay or Nay?

I'm getting some installed on tomorrow (along w/ heads, intake, cam) and the shop that is doing the work promotes BBK's. However, everything I've read (all the reviews on this site) has negative remarks about the BBK Shorties.

Any advice?

Look at the pretty FMS shorties! They are supposed to be the best you can get. Easy to install, comes with gaskets and hardware, won't rust or discolor...

BBK is a good brand. You should be fine with their headers.

I've got bbk equal length shorties on my 5.0 and I haven't had any problems. Just don't use the gaskets that come with them because they are usually crap.

Love my BBK shorties... but insist on fel-pro header gaskets.

I have BBK shorty unequal length headers and never had a problem with them. The only thing I would have done different was sprung a little extra for the ceramic coating.
