Last week I had my car custome tuned at a local speed shop with lots of experience on the new Mustang. After tuning the car to a max 300RWHP and 305 ft/lbs of torque, I started asking what mods would give me a little more HP without much expense. I suggested the throttle body, but the tech advised me against it. He told me that the new computer has lots of sensors for data input, but that the throttle body was part of the calculation that was considered to be non-adjustable, or a fixed value in the computation. Hence it would throw off other calculation. Now I'm certain with all the sensor data, the computer could comphensate for this change in throttle body volume.... but then again?

I'm going to purchase a used set of cat, gut them, and let my exhaust breath a little better for more HP.

Good luck.
