hey i was just wondering if there was much of a difference between the bbk x pipe and the bassani x pipe? they both look almost the same, stamped "x" design i was just wondering if there would be much performance difference between the 2? thnx :nice:

Should be 0 performance difference between the two pipes. Assuming you compare two of the same pipes (read: No-cat X vs. No-Cat X)

Bassani is good stuff, but so is BBK. Just depends on how big your check book is these days.

I have the Bassani 3" X-pipe with cats and to top off the sound, i also got the Bassani 1 7/8" Long-tube headers, ceramic coated and extremely loud. ... . . yea but that bassani x-pipe ran me around 550.00 dollars, but its worth it.

The difference is the fit, finish, and price. The Bassani is a much better product. However, they both serve the exact same function. Theres probably no power difference between the two either. I tend to not keep cars long so a lot of the time I get the cheap stuff.

i had a BBK. sold it and bought a bassanni. best choice i ever made. bassanni sounds much better than the BBK. BBK "x" pipe isnt even a true xpipe. it's like a chamber. do it once, do it right.

The difference lies in the materials and cost. I recently put on my BBK x-pipe and like how it sounds. I had an exhaust leak at the intermediate pipes, but fixed that with a Dynomax 2.5" Ultra Flo System. No more leaks. The fitment was a challenge in putting on, but that is to be expected with aftermarket parts I suppose.
