Beef Jerky . My uncle makes it. It beats any store bought jerky by far.

In my experience, rubs are better than sauce.
You can get some from Wal-Mart of all places...or Bass Pro has the mixes as well.

I've made some in my oven. Hang it with tooth picks off the highest rack and let it bake for awhile.

It was great but I'm sure there are specialty products that help.

I cannot say yours will, but our local one does.

Do you have a large sporting goods store in the area? They likely will. Call ahead to make sure.

Most any steak cut will work.
I used venison for my jerky (referenced in my thread above) and it was awesome.

Alton Brown is a GOD and has a very cool recipe for jerky. And he doesn't use any special dehydrators, just a box fan and a couple of filters. It sounds weird reading it, but if you can catch the episode on TV, it makes much more sense whne you see it.
Alton Brown's Beef Jerky

By the way some of the best jerky I've found is Tillamook.
