Been to DEZracing?

has anyone had there gears installed at DEZracing? if so...how much did it cost? did they re-calibrate your speedo for you?

I plan on getting 4.10's SOON!! And Planning on going on a friggin quest down there to get em installed there ..just cause I have heard nothing but good things about there work. oh..and how long would the gear swap take???? could I wait down there as they make teh change....?

You can wait down there yes. He did my whole rear end rebuild and put motive 3.90 gears in it. Knock on wood, I've been having good luck with it since. I think he charges in the ballpark of $300 for a gear instal and recal.

He did mine, charged me 275 for the gears install and a recall. No problems here. He took me for a ride in the car to make sure, and he even let me stay and watch. I also got to check out the other cool cars in the shop.

I stood and watched. Can't remember they guy who did the install. Mike was working on his drag car.

The guy made it look easy. I didn't do a recal because I have a tuner, but got me for some carrier shims. Came out about $240.

Took me for a ride down the street to check for noise.

I plan on going back there when it comes time to my suspension

Got a dyno day there too the 18th

Brian probably did the gear install. he has done my gears and axle install. they do good work down there and you can easily wait and watch em.

wow. This shop sounds better and better....They let you watch them do the installs???? how long did it take for em to do the gear swap??

2, 2 1/2 hrs tops. Didn't really seem like that long. But he had to shim the carrier a couple of times to get it right.

They made it look easy. well worth the money.

they don't have a waiting room so basically you can just wander around and check out the other cars while BS'ing with Mike and Brian. you may catch someone on the dyno while your there which is always cool to watch.

yea my bro just tuned his car there about 2 weeks ago, that was my 1st visit there and loved spending every minute there (4hrs) as we were talking alot about cars and whatnot. Mike is a great guy and Brian is extra cool as he let me pick his brain a little and let me watch as he was tearing down a 550rwhp motor.
