Honestly Clay, my favorite oktoberfest by far is my homebrew version i make. It's one of the beers that i'm good at brewing.

Haven't done it in awhile though, others things taking my time. Sooooo, see above

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

I haven't brewed in forever. My favorite recipe is a Belgian white kind of like shock top but hovers around 9% abv.
I want to learn how to make a good heifweissen. I haven't been able to get a good consistency in my batches when I try.

I haven't tried any wheat beers yet. I was getting into lagering when my wife came back. She delays these sort of things.

My oktoberfest was fairly stout, about 8.25 abv

Beyond me and @stykthyn , I'm not sure. I can't imagine we're the only ones in this group though.

That's how I got started myself, but like most things, I couldn't leave well enough alone. That caused me to go to our local homebrew store and get more in depth with it.

A guy I worked with in my previous department is all into brewing. We had a couple interns working with us for a bit who were also into brewing and the three of them would just geek out about it all day.

One of the interns is actually working at Heavy Seas brewery up in Baltimore now. Quite the contrast from fixing PCs...but a helluva lot more fun!

I received a "build-your-own" 6-pack last night for my birthday; it's got a couple Hefeweizen's in it, a couple Octoberfests, and a couple Pumpkin ales. I'm sampling this one right now:

How is it?

I'm feeling totally un-original, so

It's pretty good...no overwhelming pumpkin spice flavor, seems "just right."

Oh well, no beers tripped my trigger, but i do remember someone mentioning this vodka
Pretty good so far, relatively smooth with just a little bitterness. I would buy it again. Bet it would be good with bacon, but then again, what isn't?

Haven't had any beers worth mentioning lately, although I did see Yuengling has their Octoberfest out. Yuengling is kinda my cheap "go-to" and their seasonals have been pretty decent. Especially the Summer Wheat.
