belt question smog pump elimnation

was wondering have 1995 mustang gt with under drive pulleys and i elimnated the smog pump anyone know belt length or if it is possible without buying the kit that bolts up for stock belt use any help would be great thanks

I would like to know this too... I don't have underdrive pullies, but I know my cobra comes stock with a little different belt b/c it has the closest thing to underdrives from the factory. So I would assume that we would need pretty close the same belt...Anyways what belt do you think we need? Completely guessing here but I was thinking something like 89 or 89.5 inch...anyone have any ideas? Another thing I thought that putting underdrive pullies on a car did NOT change the belt length, but taking off the smog pump obviously would. IDK!

A search will find this. This gets brought up ALOT and is posted many times on here.

With no A/C, the belt size is 79". I'm not sure what the size is with A/C but like I said, the search function will give it to you.

FWIW-

bypassing the smog pump realy is not worth much, until you bypass the power str. pump you not going to be doing much but buying diff. belts.
