Belt Tensioner Help

I was playing around under the hood today and noticed that my Belt Tensioner is moving slightly back and forth...Is this normal? The belt is tight however seeing that kinda freaked me out. Thanks guys!

Mine does that...you can see the thing bouncing an 1/8".....Is your indicator showing the belt in the "good" zone between the marks??

Mine also bounces around a little. I'm in the process of replacing both idler pullies and the water pump. I'll let you know if it smooths it out ....
