bench bleeding m/c...

2 questions....

1- my master-cylinder came with the proportioning valve, and lines attached, instead of going through the crap of trying to break the lines free without damage, can i bench bleed the m/c, with the proportioning valve still attached?

2- i am also going with a linelock, should i bench bleed with the hole in the bottom of the m/c plugged or unplugged?

What sort of new M/C did you buy that has a Prop Valve attached?

no its stock... i could take it off, but i didnt want to go through the hassel of trying to break the fittings free without damaging the lines and stuff, if i didnt have to.

I am still trying to figure out why there is a Prop Valve attached to a Brand New M/C, anyways if you use line wrenches you will not damage anything.

its used... i just wanna kno if i can bleed it with the prop. valve attached.. but i guess not.

Just make sure the "new" Prop Valve is for your Style car as it is designed for a specific vehicle.
