Does anyone know who makes the best aftermarket headlights for a 1991 mustang. I have seen alot of aftermarket headlights that are crappy quality and do not last very long. I went to a ford dealer and they have stock lights for $150.00 a piece and that is just for the square light. Let me know your opinions. Thanks

i just got some off ebay for 69 bucks+28 dollars for shipping and insurance they got to texas in 3 days they look ultra clear to me compared to my old ones they are new from blue oval industries they are not ford they are KS reproductions

As noted, beware of some of the reproduction headlights.

It took about 7 days to get the lenses, 20 minutes per side to install all 3 lenses and forever to try to align them.

I drove around for several days with the driver’s side headlight scanning the upper branches of trees for squirrels, owls and UFO’s. The headlight lens had extra slack between the retaining clip and the screw head which allowed the lens to shift around. Fixed that with some small washers between the screw heads and the bottom of the mounting hole. I would recommend that you find 2 extra adjustment screws per side - they are the ones with the hex ends on the end of the screw where it sticks through the mounting plate. That may help the alignment problems, as the stock setup only allows adjustment with 2 screws, and is hard to adjust in and down at the same time.

The set of headlights I now have say "Ford" on them and they seem to line up properly.

Hello
I personally like the clear chrome one pieces. I think they update the fox alot and the 6 piece lights look to dated. They are so hard to align too. It took me a bit to warm up to the one pieces but, after seeing them on a notch like mine I like them alot. I'm not really sure how well they adjust though. I think the lights on foxes arent that bright maybe after a HID setup. The lights on my car are from 50resto and they are super clear and nice but, who knows how long it will last. Tell me what you think of this mustang with these lights in the site below. I think it looks good personally.

DEPO is usually the best brand for aftermarket headlights. I bought a set of 6 piece ultra clears from ebay for a little over $100. I got them and they even came with seals and adjusting brackets. I just ran a bead of clear silicone around the edges to prevent any condenstation. I'm happy with them.
