I've always thought the copper gaskets made sense as the best you could get, but maybe i'm wrong since i'm pretty sure my header gaskets are leaking now. I'm gonna chang'em out probably today some time, so what should i buy?

I think the problem with mine might be that i had to tighten them more times than you should because my bolts stripped and i couldnt get a good torque on'em, but i've got allen key bolts now so this shouldnt be a problem.

Are those specific for your heads or are they ok for a stock motor and LTs?

The 1415's will fit most 1.75" and all the 1.625" headers with the stock style bolt pattern. I used them on stock headers, BBK, MAC, Ford Racing, etc...

Mr. Gasket dead soft copper gaskets. There reusable and with my MAC equal lengths (the ones with the individual flanges, the kind that people always complain about leaking) and they stayed leak free from the first tightening. I havent yet had to retighten and its been almost a year and also, these headers have been on and off several times on several different motors.
