I read this about the Anderson Power pipe and that's enough to turn me off. I don't want to be bothered with customizing things.
The entire pipe is held in place by the rubber sleeve on the throttle body. took a long time to twist it and get the right fit, but still bounces around in the fenderwell. Had to custom make a rubber fitting for the fenderwell. No place to put oil breather line. Pipe hits the oil cap and alternator.
I was so disapointed with this product. Way overpriced for what you get. Don't know why they wouldn't make a braket to bolt it to the fenderwell? You'll have to do alot of twisting, readjusting and custom work to get it to fit securely. Would be nice for a drag car, but not a street car.

C & L make a nice cold air kit including the MAF but how do they size up to the Pro M's?

I presently have the BBK CAI kit, but it fits properly and has the tube for the oil tube as well as the bung for that other air sensor. The only problem is I don't think an 80mm MAF will fit.

I never had any of those problems with my AFM pipe. As far as the valve cover tube goes, you just simply cap the nipple on the valve cover oil fill neck and place a breather in place of the oil fill cap. I think the AFM powerpipe along with a 80mm Pro-M shorty is the way to go!

Here is my car in N/A form with the pipe. I really like the look of the breather too.
